Ideally you will have previous experience with Transition to Work, Employment Services or working with youth and their path to employment.

The Role

As the Senior Youth Support Worker, you will be assisting the Business Manager with additional support and manage a reduced caseload of participants.

Provide support, motivation and guidance to a reduced caseload of participants
Assist with internal staff training, support and motivation
Assist with staff recruitment and other business decisions
Oversee the Transition to Work program in accordance with standards and contractual obligations
Coach internal staff on effective ways to meet service quality, timeframes, structure objectives
Full time position working 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
To be considered, you will have…

Eligibility to work in Australia
A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
Willing to complete a Criminal History Check and able to pass a Working with Children Check
Ideally you will hold a Cert IV Youth Work, Cert IV Employment Services or Cert IV Community Services or higher or equivalent (if you don’t hold formal qualifications, you must be happy to obtain).
